Our themes will take on a new form this year; each week will be given a fun theme that will be the base for all our activities for the week. We will run our daily schedule as planned but we will integrate the theme into each one, so instead of canoeing we will go on an Amazon River exploration. We will also celebrate the theme by cabin decorations, so if you have any decorations bring them along; the cleanest and best decorated cabin throughout the week will win a prize at the end of the week.
Week 1: Wrangler Week
Week one gets summer started off with a bang, with Wrangler Week the kids will get to head out on a trail ride this week as well as learn to groom and handle a horse. Then we will have ourselves a time with our rootin tootin' Wednesday when our entire day will take your child back to the wild west. If thats not enough, parents night on Thursday will salute our western theme and is sure to be a "Yee Haw" good time.

Week 2: Wet N' Wild Week
If you love the water, then this week is for you. We will have events from water Olympics, to relay races. Your child will have the opportunity to head out on an extended canoe trip and have lunch on the lake. Then we will have an extreme water extravaganza, which will include a muddiest camper competition! Then on parents night you can expect some of the soggiest skits and liquefying laughs you’ll ever encounter.

Week 3: Pirate Week
Arr! Tis Pirate Week at camp, and we shall be swashin’ yar buckles. Your child can look forward to a fun filled week where they are sure to live all their pirate dreams. Our theme day (Wednesday) will take your child on a pirate adventure, as they will set sail in their pirate ships (canoes), with the intent of finding buried treasure. They will follow their groups very own pirate map, but they’ll have to be careful, you never know what things await on this piratey quest.

Week 4: Rodeo Week
Its time to jump back into the saddle, we’ll hit the trails on horseback and ride into the sun. You will then get to take part in some of the craziest most excitin’ Wild West games you’ve ever seen, and we’ll finish it off with a good old fashioned ho-down for parent’s night.

Week 5: Animal Adventure Week
Its time for the pets to play, we will get to see and learn about all sorts of neat animals this week. Plus you will get the opportunity to bring your own pet to camp so they can get in on the fun too. Our theme day will also include some other special guests to camp; there will be some you won’t want to miss. We’ll see you at camp where the critters come to play!

Week 6: Hawaiian Week
Aloha! Its Hawaii at Alexander, toss on your lei and your grass skirt because we are going to get our hula on this week. We will have fun in the sun as we play some tropical games and get to try some tropical food this week, our theme day will take us into the volcano as we get to go on a wild Hawaiian adventure. Then, parent’s night will be one to remember because we will really get into the theme and will keep the laughs coming.

Week 7: Olympics Week
Strap on your shoes and put on your shorts we are heading to the Olympics! We will have Olympic style events with a camp twist all week long, and our theme day will give the kids a real opportunity to test their skills or try out some new ones. Then parents will get to see the gold medal ceremonies because parents night will celebrate our amazing athletes.

Week 8: Circus Week
Were ready to perform as the circus takes over Camp, we will have all sorts of circus fun this week from carnival games to some special circus performances. Parent’s night will make you feel like you’re really under the Big Top, complete with amazing, astounding, death defying(sort of) performances! This is one you won’t want to miss.

Week 9: Extreme Sports Week
If you love sports then this is the week for you! We will play some old favorites like football, kickball and soccer, plus we will get to play some amazing new games that are unique to Camp! Test your skills in each sport as we have contests with a camp twist that will keep it fun for all ages. Then on parents night you can show off your skills and the parents will get to see how their skills compare to their kids.
