YMCA Camp Alexander is committed to providing a safe, positive and fun experience for your child. We strive to select a diverse group of mature, caring, patient, skilled and responsible counselors. Many of our staff are college students who are pursuing careers in education and other human service related fields. Prior to the arrival of campers all staff receive background checks and training in safety, counseling techniques, conflict resolution, camp policies and procedures. This high standard of professionalism results in a safe, fun, high quality experience for our campers.
